Gold Belle is a sister unit based in Tokyo, born and raised in Hawaii, bringing fresh sounds to all the best children's songs you remember from your childhood.
The elder, Melody Ishihara, moved to Tokyo to pursue a singing career at the age of 19 after being picked as the winning contestant in a singing audition. In addition to her day job as a professional recording artist, she has also worked as a model, actor and host of television and radio shows. Melody took a hiatus from work in 2008 to start a family and is now a mother of two, back in the recording business.
The younger, Christine Saimo, began composing original piano pieces at the age of 13. She moved to Tokyo in 2004 and began producing, composing, and arranging songs professionally. In 2010, Christine completed an intensive music course in Los Angeles, and returned to Japan to resume producing.
Melody and Christine's roots lie strongly in classical music, and believes that the power of healing music can bring love and peace to the heart.
