INORAN And TAKA of MUDDY APES' Video Message From Skream

Translation:

I: To everybody watching Skream, this is the guitarist for Muddy Apes, Inoran.

T: This is Taka, on the bass.

I: Yup, so, we, the Muddy Apes, are getting ready to put out our second album, right?

T: Right. It’s coming out soon.

I: Yeah. What’s its title?

T: Its title is Fairy Dirt No.5.

I: Yeah.

T: It’s like a mixing of sparkles and…dirt. Yeah.

I: And it’s number 5?

T: Number 5!! (laughs) Really it’s the second one, but Number 5 nonetheless!

I: Hahaha, that’s right. And um, I would say that, even more than our first one, Crush It, it’s even more “in our style” if you know what I mean.

T: Yeah, I agree. This time, when we were making the sound, we thought, let’s put more of our spin on it. Maeson also (uncertain, mumbling) didn’t he?

I: Yeah, Maeson, on the vocals. And our range is really much wider than in the first one, and, like the first one, we went to Tampa, Tampa, in Florida to…

T: To train, basically.

I: Yeah, to train…

T: We’re good at these training camps.

I: That’s right, for 3 weeks, we took 3 weeks.

T: Yeah. It was fun, wasn’t it?

I: (Laughs) Yes, it was fun! We didn’t have any breaks though, did we?

T: No, no breaks! You’re the only one who saw the ocean during that time!

I: (Laughs) Yes, just me! (Pauses) Yeah. So….

T: So, this summer, at Fuji Rock…

I: Yes, the Muddy Apes will participate in Fuji Rock!

T: Well, really, the people who come to Fuji Rock, irrespective of the music, whether it’s dance, rock, anything, they’re the kind of people who will listen to it so, for the Muddy Apes it’s really like the best place to play a show.

I: It is, isn’t it?

T: You can’t be lazy now! We all have to be serious in practicing!

I: (Laughs) Yes, let’s practice a lot! But, we’re really looking forward to it, aren’t we? So, everyone, don’t miss both our new album, Fairy Dirt No.5, and our performance at Fuji Rock!
