WOW...Surprising news for fans as Visual kei band #Girugamesh (ギルガメッシュ) announced they will be ending their twelve years together as a band at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO on July 10th.
The band who is slated to kick off their 5th European tour on May 11th, made their mark on Japan's music scene back in 2003. Their first debut single,"Kaisen Sengen" was ranked number ten on Oricon Indies chart.
Releasing an official statement on their official website the band disclosed: "We’ve dedicated everything and done everything we could for the band for this long period of 12 years. This is our honest feelings. We had many encounters. Friends, staffs and fans.
Because of your support and encouragement, we could walk for 12 years. We will express our gratitude with our best performance at our final show!!"
As a parting gift to their fans, the group is currently working on a new song which they will perform at their final show.
